NEWPORT PAGNELL

PACIFIC BLUE
£950 GBP (pre-order price)
£1,150 (regular price)
Inspired by the speedometer of the iconic Aston Martin DB5, the Octane & Lock Newport Pagnell takes its name from the historic home of the British marque, where a little over 13,300 Aston Martins (including 1,022 DB5s) were hand-built between 1955 and 2007.
Each version of the Octane & Lock Newport Pagnell has its dial finished in one of the colours offered to DB5 buyers – in this instance, Pacific Blue. Meanwhile, the profile of the case references the distinctive Aston Martin front grille, and the crown signature is based on the spinners used to secure the DB5’s wire wheels (or slash the tyres of passing Mustangs).
Instead of a 4.0-litre straight-six, however, power comes from the SW510 BH a automatic movement developed and produced by Swiss manufacturer Sellita.
Like all Octane & Lock watches, the Newport Pagnell Pacific Blue is hand-assembled and regulated in Great Britain.
